In 2024, SBS creates its Digital Lending business unit with the vision to allow borrowers to benefit from a seamless financing experience via the deployment of a cost effective SaaS end-to-end lending solution for financial institutions.
Joining SBS Digital Lending is taking part in an entrepreneurial journey whilst joining a solid group. It is the occasion to instil an agile and dynamic mindset whilst leveraging years of experience in the SaaS and financing markets.
Tech at SBS Digital Lending
We think reinventing financing is a massive tech challenge, that’s why we built SBS Digital Lending as a tech and data-driven team with a startup team spirit. Today, 18 developers are working on building the best financing experience ever made, very closely to the Product team.
We love TypeScript at SBS Digital Lending. That’s why every part of our stack is based on JS: we use Node.js and MongoDB on the back-end, React.js on the web, and React Native on mobile. The platform runs on AWS, deployed using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
We believe in ownership and mentoring at SBS Digital Lending. By following good code practices and through code review, we make sure to deliver quality code and allow developers to grow their skills.
We follow the Scrum methodology: the Tech and Product teams are split in 3 squads, along with a DevSecOps platform team.
We're looking for a motivated intern to support our Tech team. You'll work on cutting-edge projects, learn the ins and outs of digital lending processes, and enhance your tech skills, especially in JS.
Missions
- Write technical specifications for the features defined with the Product team
- Write clean and tested HTML/TypeScript/CSS with React.js
- Write clean and tested Node.js / TypeScript code on the backend
- Make sure the app is responsive and works across browsers
- Help build a scalable infrastructure on AWS
- Build a robust API consumed by our Web apps and our SaaS clients
- Review code from other developers
- Implement and follow the design system from Figma using Storybook
Profil recherché
- Studying Computer Science in an Engineering School or at University, you’re looking for a 6-months internship
- You’ve built a backend using an OOP or functional programming language
- You’re fluent in HTML, CSS and have a good knowledge of JavaScript
- You have used a JavaScript framework before
- You have experience with a DBMS (SQL or NoSQL)
- You have an eye for details and for well designed, pixel-perfect products
- You have knowledge of the code quality best practices (tests, CI/CD, …)
- You’re curious and eager to extend your technical skills
- You can speak and work in English
